Ola M. Green

Ola M. Green, 89, of Plainfield, passed away on August 4, 2021.  She was born in Somerset, KY on November 6, 1931 to the late Alton and Evelyn Bates.  Ola held various jobs over the years.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and dedicated homemaker.  Ola enjoyed sewing, baking and doing crossword puzzles.  She loved going to church and was a member of the Faith Baptist Church in Avon.  Ola was preceded in death by her husband, Verlin Green.  Funeral services will be Thursday, August 12, 2021 at 12:00 pm in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home where friends may visit from 10:00 am until service time.  Entombment will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood, IN.  Survivors include her sons, Richard (Carlene), Robert (Magi) and Raymond (Susie) Russell; daughters, Marie Melton and Karen (Mark) Speece; brothers, Carl (Lois), Robert and Richard (Charlene) Bates; 18 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.
