Pamela "Pam" Jean Hall

Pamela “Pam” J. Hall, born October 31, 1950 (67) of Plainfield, passed away peacefully Tuesday, October 31, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. A faithful and dedicated wife, mother, sister, daughter and grandmother. She embodied a passion for life and all of its blessings. On November 9, 1969 Pam’s life would forever be changed by marrying her high school sweetheart, John E. Hall, of Plainfield. Together they embarked on their journey of life, full of opportunities and love for their family and the privilege of helping build the community in which they lived. Pam supported her husband’s adventures in business, farming, construction, trucking, snow removal and other real estate developments such as Deer Creek Golf Club. She owned Lynn Trucking and Studio 51 Salon, and was a co-founder of the NAWBO chapter in Indianapolis.   Her infectious enthusiasm for Plainfield was apparent as she generously gave her time to Tri Kappa, Plainfield Plus, Red Pride Booster Club and Spring Fest. Her service to local schools took place on multiple levels as she began her 16-year career serving with numerous achievements as a school board member. Pam’s family and friends knew the most important things in her life were her faith, family, and sports. God was instrumental in guiding Pam’s faith, love and spirit. Pam is survived by her husband, John E. Hall, 67 along with their two children, John Albert Hall, 46 and his wife Chastidy of Plainfield as well as Katie E. Jasinski, 43 and her husband Jerry of Chicago. Pam’s pride and joy were her four wonderful grandchildren, Brock 21, Bree 19, Zac 6 and Gus 3. Other survivors include her mother Patsy Harris, of Plainfield, two sisters, Beth (Charlie) Morris of Plainfield, and Mary (Paris) James of Martinsville, and her brother John David (Dee) Harris of Martinsville. She was preceded in death by her father, Wilbur W. “Wes” Harris; and her brothers, Jeff Harris & Greg Harris. Further survivors include Pam’s 13 nieces and nephews and 24 grand nieces and nephews. On Monday, November 6, 2017 there will be a public viewing from 2-7 pm at Plainfield Christian Church, 800 Dan Jones Road, Plainfield, IN 46168. On Tuesday November 7, 2017 there will be a one-hour visitation from 10-11 am with funeral services beginning at 11 am.
