Paul Prescott Johnson

Paul Prescott Johnson, 80, of Plainfield, passed away March 26, 2019.  He was born October 5, 1938 to the late Milton and Rietha (Prescott) Johnson in Milford, CT.  He served in the US Army Reserves.  He worked as an over-the-road truck driver and terminal manager at Dohrn Transport and later Roadway Express retiring in 2004.  He was a member of the Plainfield Christian Church and also worked at the Plainfield Parks and Recreation at Splash Island for the past 13 years.  Paul is survived by his wife of 58 years, Mary W. (Clendenon) Johnson; two sons, Steven Paul and Michael Prescott Johnson; two brothers, Milton (Pauline) Jr., and David (Verill) Johnson; a sister, Lois Vietch; two grandchildren, Samantha and Zac Johnson; and a great grandchild, Jessie Johnson.  Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at the Plainfield Christian Church, 800 Dan Jones Road, Plainfield, where friends may call at the church on Saturday from 11:00 am until service time at 1:00 pm.
