Phyllis Fischer

Phyllis Fischer, 83, of Plainfield, passed away on March 17, 2020. She was born in Indianapolis, IN on November 18, 1936 to the late Charles and LaVerne Gaalema. Phyllis was a loving wife and dedicated homemaker. She was preceded in death by her son, Rick Fischer; brothers, Charles "Pete", Frank and Tony Gaalema; sister, Patricia Johnson; sister in law, Sandra Gaalema. Phyllis was a former member of the St. Peter Lutheran Church in Indianapolis. She loved painting and playing poker in her free time. A Celebration Of Life will be held at a later date. Survivors include her loving husband, Runnels Fischer; son, Brad (Lisa) Fischer; daughter, Katrina Woolf; sisters, Janice (Spencer) Worth and Connie Gaalema; 5 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild.
