Phyllis I. Puckett

Phyllis I. Puckett, 89, of Plainfield, passed away January 12, 2022. She was born July 15, 1932 to the late James and Swan (Godfroy) Hunter in Peru, IN.  She was a homemaker.  Her greatest joy in life was her kids, grandkids and great grandkids.  She is survived by her four sons, Jeffrey (Anne), Bruce (Tracie), Brian (Renee), and Eric (Jennifer) Puckett; a daughter, Lisa (James) Harkness; a sister, Evie Jane Hunter; 10 grandchildren, Steven (Jennifer), Scott (Jenna), Ben, Brandon (Melissa), Thomas, Joseph, Amanda (Derek), Evan, and Emma Puckett, and Hollie (Jonny) Vessely; and 6 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Ivan Rex Puckett.  Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm on Saturday, January 15, 2022 in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, where friends may call on Saturday from 12:00 noon until service time at 1:00 pm.  Burial will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield.
