Raymond Gibson

Raymond T. Gibson, 96, of Clayton, passed away on August 20, 2026.  He was born on March 17, 1930 in Lebanon, Virginia to the late Hampton and Rosanna (Johnson) Gibson.  Raymond owned R.G. Sales in the automotive industry for many years before retiring. He was an active member of Graceway Fellowship Church in Mooresville. His hobbies included golfing, playing pool (billards), racing cars and working cross word puzzles. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Janet Kolodziej; brother, Gene Gibson; sister, Frances Tucker; grandchildren, Toney and Troy; great grandchild, Elijah. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2026 at Clayton Christian Church (5110 IN-39 Clayton, IN 46118) beginning at 1:00 p.m., where friends and family may visit from 11:00 a.m. until time of services. Burial will follow to Stilesville Cemetery. Survivors include his daughters, Rosanna "Lynne" (Ronald) Cooper, Dana (Arlen) Wyatt, Gina (Bill) Fisher and Nicole Shultz; sister, Wilma Wheeler; 9 grandchildren, Tara, Tracie, Taylor, Brande, Ashley, Justin, Brittney, Lyndsey and Jonathan; several great grandchildren; several great great grandchildren.
