Reita F. Gladson

Reita F. Gladson, 67, of Indianapolis, passed away on July 13, 2024. She was born in Tipton, IN on June 5, 1957 to the late Everett and Helen Wood.  Reita worked for Marsh grocery for many years as a baker. She enjoyed playing cards, games and solving puzzles. Reita regularly attended church with her family. She loved spending time with family, especially watching her granddaughter play sports.Reita was preceded in death by sisters, Helen Coleman, Carolyn Stowers and Peggy Lukasik; brothers, Willie Wood and Everett Wood Jr.  Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 19, 2024 at 1:00 pm at Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home,Plainfield, where friends may visit from 11:00 am until time of service. Burial will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery. Survivors include her loving husband, Joseph Gladson; son, Eric (Christina) Gangwer; son, Christopher Alexander; daughter, Jennifer Alexander; siblings, Billie (Dianna) Wood, Patsy Bellah, Dennis (Donna) Wood, Janet Graham, Carlene (Paul) Strawmyer, Glenda Walker and Bobby (Judy) Wood;  granddaughter, Elliana Gangwer; grandson, Isaac Gomez;  and several nieces and nephews.
