Rex A. Acton

Rex A. Acton, 62, of Plainfield, passed away January 27, 2019.  He was born September 28, 1956 to the late Wayne and Loretta (Taylor) Acton in Indianapolis, IN.  He was a 1974 graduate of Plainfield High School.  He worked as a machine operator for Nice Pak for 10 years.  Rex is survived by his wife, Mari K. Acton; a son, Paul Acton; a daughter, Stephanie (Chase) Mattox; two brothers, Ray (Linda) and Ross (Sara) Acton; 5 sisters, Fay (George) Cheeks, Kay Acton, Gayle (Wayne) Mayo, Jane Mayo, and Jill (Douglas) Albrecht; and two grandchildren, Luke and Leah Mattox.  He was preceded in death by a sister, Janet Acton.  Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm on Friday, February 8, 2019 in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, where friends may call on Friday from 11:00 am until service time at 1:00 pm.  Burial will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield.
