Rex E. Foos

Rex was truly one of a kind. He was such a kind hearted man and was the ultimate family man. He grew up in Big Rapids, Michigan where he worked on his father’s farm. Then he enlisted in the Navy for 4 years and ended his service in Beeville, TX, where he met the love of his life Jerry. He later on went to become an air traffic controller for Indianapolis airport, where he worked for 36 years retiring in 1986. Rex was a simple man who loved his family dearly and worked hard to build the legacy he left behind. Rex is preceded in death by his wife Jerry, and daughters Diane and Janet. Rex’s spirit will live on through his brother Donald Foos, niece Cindy(husband Glen), nephews Rick(wife Laurie), Scott(wife Janet). Grandchildren Ian( wife Chelsea), Olivia, Haley and great grandchildren Makoa, Tarek, Alaina, Nola, Maddison and Mackenzie. There will be no calling or services at this time.  Arrangements by Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield.
