Richard W. "Rick" Beckner

Richard W. "Rick" Beckner, 59, of Spencer, passed away September 21, 2021.  He was born May 24, 1962 in Greencastle, IN.  He was an inspector for Cook Medical for the past 25 years.  He was skilled at model kit building, designing dioramas as well as being artistic.  He enjoyed video games and personal gardening and landscaping.  Rick is survived by his wife, Judy A. (Lawson) Beckner; his mother, Rita (Taylor) Coats-Wagle; three sisters, Cathy (John) Phillips, Cindy (Don) Baxter, and Karen Anderson; and many beloved nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his father, Claud Beckner.  A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at 2:00 pm at the Westside Assembly of God, 1409 Kirkwood Ave., Bloomington, IN 47404, with calling there one hour prior to services.  Arrangements by Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield.
