Richard J. Caraboa

Richard J. Caraboa, 88, of Plainfield, passed away May 11, 2018. He was born on November 11, 1929 in Morris, IL to the late George and Ann Caraboa. He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War. Richard retired in 1985 after 36 years at Naval Avionics as a planner/estimator. He was an avid sports enthusiast. Richard loved watching the Chicago Cubs, Indiana Pacers and Indianapolis Colts. He also enjoyed watching his grandson play football for Marian College. Richard and Charlotte enjoyed watching their grandchildren play AAU sports and followed them through out the country. Graveside services will be private in Maple Hill Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Charlotte Caraboa; sons, Thomas (Virginia) Caraboa and Steve Caraboa; grandchildren, Brittany Caraboa, Brock Caraboa and his fiance Katie Kaiser, Julie (Russel) Brandt and Joseph (Christina) Holt; 7 great grandchildren
