Roger Thomas

Roger Thomas, 69, of Spencer, passed away on November 30, 2018.  He was born on June 16, 1949 in Kentucky to Marvin and Virginia Thomas.  Roger worked for Major Tool & Machine as a machinist for 27 years before retiring.  He loved collecting and working on cuckoo clocks.  Roger enjoyed building model ships in his younger years.  He played the harmonica everyday.  Roger was preceded in death by his father, Marvin E. Thomas; 1st wife, Mary Thomas and a step-daughter, Jessica Williamson.  Funeral services will be Thursday, December 6, in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home at 1:00 pm where friends may visit from 12:00 pm (noon) until time of service. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.  Survivors include his wife, Karen "Sue" Thomas; mother, Virginia Thomas; son, Ryan Thomas; sister, Wanda Novak; step-sons, James, Richard and Jonny Maloy; grandson, Timothy Thomas and several step-grandchildren.
