Ruthie L. Shaver

Ruthie Lollar Shaver, 67, of Danville, passed away October 26, 2022.  She was born June 1, 1955 in Indianapolis, IN.   She was a graduate of Ben Davis High School and received her AS degree in computer science from Purdue University.  She worked as a business analysis at One America for 32 years.  Ruthie’s talents and hobbies were many, an accomplished seamstress, knitter, Live Strong Personal Trainer, photographer, hiker, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and community volunteer. Besides spending time with her family and friends, Ruthie had a passion for traveling, exercising, and attending her granddaughters and grandson sporting events.  Ruthie is survived by her husband, Gregory D. Shaver; a son, Adam G. (Tara) Shaver; her mother, Mary Lou (Brumley) Lollar; a brother, Les Lollar; and 4 grandchildren, Audra and Isabella Acton, and Greyson and Liam Shaver.  She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Lollar.  Funeral services will be at 3:00 PM on Friday, November 4, 2022 in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, where friends may call on Friday from 1:00 pm until service time at 3:00 pm.
