Sandra "Sandy" Kay Bennett

Sandra "Sandy" Kay Bennett, 59, of Plainfield, passed away August 20, 2021. She was born September 22, 1961 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Alfred and Annie Adams. Sandy was a graduate of Washington (Indianapolis) High School. She married Carl Bennett on December 31, 1986. Sandy worked several years in construction sales and later as an estate manager besides being a homemaker. She loved the outdoors and taking vacations to Florida with her family. Sandy was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed. Funeral services will be Thursday, August 26, at 10:00 am in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, where friends may call on Wednesday, August 25, from 4:00 - 8:00 pm. Survivors include her loving husband of 35 years, Carl Bennett; sons, Brandon (Shannon), Kyle (fiance, Megan) and Andrew (girlfriend, Marlana) Bennett; brothers, Paul (Nubia), Ronnie (Paula), and Charlie Adams; grandchildren, Annabella, Evelyn and Ellyna Bennett. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hendricks County Humane Society.
