Shirley L. Gipson

Shirley L. Gipson, 89, of Plainfield, passed away on April 24, 2025. She was born on April 29, 1935 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Carleton and Rosa (Fine) Hinshaw. She was a member of the Plainfield Elks Lodge. Shirley loved fishing at her lake house in Sebring, Florida. She is preceded in death by her husband, Leon Gipson; sister, Betty Kirk; son, Bob Gipson. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Survivors include her daughter, Margo (Bob) Freewalt; half-brother, Carl Hinshaw; 2 grandchildren, Beth Peters and Rob Gipson; 5 great grandchildren.
