Stella M. Wood

Stella M. Wood, 71, of Plainfield, passed away October 18, 2022.  She was born July 5, 1951 to the late Ralph Robertson, Sr. and Leona (Robbins) Fields in Indianapolis, IN.  She was a member of the Plainfield West Church of Christ.  She worked 5 years in the laundry department at Plainfield Healthcare Center until 2001.  Stella is survived by her husband, Stanley E. Wood; a son, Steven E. (Christina) Wood; a daughter, Stacy M. (Rob) Redenbaugh; a half-brother, Joseph F. Fields; and a granddaughter, Ellamaree Vincent.  Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm on Monday, October 24, 2022 in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, where friends may call on Monday from 11:00 am until service time at 1:00 pm.  A private burial will be held at Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield
