Steven Davis

Steven Daniel Davis, 72, of Indianapolis, passed away on July 19, 2026 with his loving wife by his side.  He was born on March 23, 1954 to the late Phillip Davis and Mary Normand.  Steve was a United States Navy veteran.  He worked for John Deer for 18 years and then went to Plainfield Equipment before retiring.  Steve enjoyed NHRA drag racing and riding his Harley Davidson with his wife every Saturday and Sunday.  He was preceded in death by his son, Casey Davis.  Funeral services will be on Friday, July 24, 2026 at 1:00 pm in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home where friends may visit from 11:00 am until the time of services at 1:00 pm.  Burial will follow in Fairfield Friends Cemetery, Camby.  Survivors include his loving wife, Millie Davis; sisters, Pamela Davis and Rebecca (Jim) Gibbs; brother, Paul (Linda) Davis.
