Susan E. Abney

Susan E. Abney, 64, of Plainfield, passed away on August 23, 2023 surrounded by loving family members.  She was born in Indianapolis on June 11, 1959 to the late Sibbie and Janice Abney.  Susan was a hard worker and the team leader at White Castle for the past 21 years.  She belonged to the Gospel Of Deliverance Church and went on several mission's in her lifetime.  Susan was preceded in death by a sister, Debbie Colclazier.  Funeral services will be Monday, August 28, 2023 at 1:00 pm in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home where friends may visit from 12:00 pm (noon) until the time of service at 1:00 pm.  Burial will follow at Clayton Cemetery.  Survivors include siblings, Lanny Abney, Sandra Abney and Denise Lynn (David) Bailey.
