Susanna "Sue" Jordan

Susanna "Sue" Jordan, 92, of Plainfield, passed away on May 15, 2020.  She was born in Carlisle, IN on February 27, 1928 to the late Gussie and Ethel Jones.  Sue graduated from Loogootee High School where she played basketball.  She retired in 1974 as an independent real estate broker.  Sue was a member of the Plainfield Christian Church.  She would go out to eat with the same group of friends when church services were over.  Sue enjoyed line dancing, traveling and singing old time hymns, always finishing the song with an amen.  We are saddened by her passing but joyful she is with her Lord and Savior.  Sue was preceded in death by her husband, Dale Jordan; daughter, Nancy Roberts; brothers, Kenneth and Keith Jones; sisters, Ruby Shake, Becky Shake, Rayanna Bedwell and Mary Westmoreland.  Funeral services and burial will be private.  Survivors include her son, Dennis (Angela) Jordan; daughter, Brenda (Ron) Elmore; grandchildren, Anthony Jordan, Tara (Tracy) Moore and Jordan Elmore; 8 great grandchildren.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Plainfield Christian Church (800 Dan Jones Road, Plainfield, IN 46168).
