Tainia Sue Cox

Tainia Sue Cox, age 81, of Plainfield, peacefully passed away at home surrounded by loving family on December 18, 2025. She was born on September 16, 1944 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late William Nichols and Anna (Chandler) Dunn. Sue was a member of the Plainfield Bible Church. She loved being around kids and cherished her time with her children and grandchildren. Sue was an avid reader, whenever she had spare time she always had a book in her hand. She is preceded in death by her son, Franklin Cox Jr.; siblings, Mike, Cindy and Patty. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2025 starting at 10:30 a.m. at the Plainfield Bible Church ( 752 Dan Jones Rd. Plainfield, IN 46168) where family and friends may visit from 9:30 a.m. until time of services. Burial will follow to Maple Hill Cemetery. Survivors include her loving husband, Franklin Cox Sr.; son, William "Bill" (Laura) Cox; 2 grandchildren, Kaitlynn and Brooklynn Cox.
