Tammy L. Gipson

Tammy L. Gipson, 60, of Ft. Myers, FL, passed away January 24, 2023.  She was born May 3, 1962 in Sullivan, IN.  She formerly owned a ceramic shop in Plainfield at St. Rd. 267 and US 40.  She was a loving and giving person throughout her life.  Tammy is survived by her mother, Ebba (Lawhead) Cook; her step-father, Leonard Cook; two sisters, Deidra (John) Shipley and Amy (Mark) Stahl; a granddaughter, Christina Williams-Gipson; grandmother Roena Pirtle; and maternal grandparents, Carl and Lottie Lawhead; and 1 niece and 4 nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Will Gipson and her father, Morris Pirtle.  Graveside services will be at 2:00 pm on Friday, February 3, 2023 in the Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield.  Arrangements by Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield.
