Valda N. Kehr

Valda Kehr, 92, of Plainfield, passed away on March 4, 2021.  She was born on February 21, 1929 in Goshen, IN to the late Lester and Mary Cook.  Valda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and a dedicated homemaker.  She was a member of the Plainfield Christian Church.  Valda enjoyed reading, crafts and playing cards in her free time.  She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Martin Kehr; sisters, Aline Holbrook and Nancy Hampton.  Due to Covid-19, social distancing and masks are required to enter the building.  Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 10, at 11:30 am in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home where friends may visit from 10:30 am until the time of service.  Entombment will follow in West Ridge Park Cemetery.  Survivors include her daughter, Vicki West; grandchild, Mary Anne McElravy; great grandchild, Jessica McElravy.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Gleaners Food Bank (3737 Waldemere Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46241).
