Virginia L. Hamilton

Virginia L. Hamilton, 68, of Plainfield, passed away July 31, 2018.  She was born October 21, 1949 to the late Walter and Rose (Knight) Lannan in Beech Grove, IN.  She attended Light & Life Free Methodist Church.  She worked as a file clerk for Grain Dealers Mutual Ins. Co. for 10 years retiring in 1989.  She was also a tutor for Special Education children.  Virginia is survived by a son, Tommy R. Hamilton; a daughter, Roseanna M. Chism; a sister, Carolyn A. (Jerry) Rains; and a granddaughter, Sierra Arlington.  Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 pm on Friday, August 3, 2018 in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield.  Funeral services will be at 10:00 am on Saturday, August 4 in the funeral home.  Burial will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield.
