Virginia L. Jarrett

Virginia L. Jarrett, 83, of Plainfield, passed away February 13, 2018.  She was born August 17, 1934 to the late George and Florence (Pottmeyer) Cokain in Logansport, IN.  She was a homemaker and a member of the Friendswood Baptist Church.  Virginia is survived by a son, Phillip E. Jarrett; and a brother, Jerry (Patricia) Cokain.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel W. Jarrett; a daughter, Jodie L. Jarrett; and two sisters, Carol Larson Pope and Marilyn Southland.  Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm on Saturday, February 17, 2018 in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, where friends may call on Saturday from 11:00 am until service time at 1:00 pm.  Burial will be in Fairfield Friends Cemtery.
