Virginia A. Walters

Virginia A. Walters, 87, of Plainfield, passed away on August 11, 2019.  She was born on June 16, 1932 in Plainfield to the late Cecil and Helen Krebs.  Virginia was the owner of Andy's Pizza shop before retiring.  She was a member of the Plainfield Christian Church.  Virginia was a longtime member of the Rebekah Lodge.  She enjoyed doing crafts in her spare time.  Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, John Walters; daughter, Jennifer Holdeman and a brother, Gene Krebs.  Funeral services will be Saturday, August 17, 2019 at 4:00 pm in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home where friends may visit from 2:00 pm until time of service.  Burial will be private.  Survivors includes her daughter, Laura (David) Carr; sons, Gene and Ward Geyer; brother, Paul Krebs; 15 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild.
