William A. Cain

William "Bill" Cain, 103, of Westport, IN, passed away on January 18, 2022.  He was born on March 5, 1918 in Jennings County to the late Charles W. and Bessie Cain.  Bill worked for Link Belt as a tool and die maker for 35 plus years retiring in 1977.  He enjoyed fishing and restoring old cars in his free time.  Bill was preceded in death by his loving wife, Willetta Cain; son, Charles Cain; brothers, Earl and Ralph Cain.  Visitation will be Monday, January 24, 2022 from 1:00 to 2:00 pm in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home.  There will be no services and burial will follow at a later time in Maple Hill Cemetery.  Survivors include his companion, Maude Michael; sons, Herb (Barbara), Donnie and Robert Cain; brother, Marvin Cain; 3 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren.
