William Gent Jr.

William Gent Jr., 93, of Plainfield, passed away on November 23, 2020.  He was born on August 22, 1927 in Wilder, VA to the late William Gent and Grace Barfield.  William was an WWII United States Army veteran.  He was a manager for Miller Well Drilling for 27 years.  William enjoyed wood working, fishing and camping in his free time.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Bessie Gent; several brothers and sisters.  An immediate burial will take place Wednesday, November 25, 2020 in Maple Hill Cemetery.  Survivors include his children, Ronald Gent, Linda Thompson and William B. (Luan) Gent; 7 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren.
