William "Bobby" Ping

William "Bobby" Ping, 54, of Indianapolis, passed away September 5, 2018.  He was born October 30, 1963 to the late Melvin and Martha (Stevens) Ping in Somerset, KY.  He was a tire technician for Petros Tire for many years.  He also helped out at the Wooden Nickel Bar.  He loved playing pool and darts and played in many tournaments.  Bobby is survived by a son, James R. Ping; his twin brother, James "Robby" Ping; a sister, Sandy Ping; 2 grandchildren; and two calico cats named Mama and Fatty.  He was preceded in death by two brothers, Roger and Randy Ping.  Memorial services will be at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, where friends may call on Wednesday from 5:00 pm until service time at 7:00 pm.
