Judith Ann Volz

Judith Ann Volz, 81, of Plainfield, passed away December 14. 2020.  She was born September 26, 1939 to the late Alphonsus Shelby and Coletta (Wethington) Ward in Lebanon, IN.  She retired from Riley Hospital after 25 years as a clerical worker.  She was a member of St. Susanna Catholic Church, Plainfield.  Mom enjoyed seeing her kids and spending time with her grandkids and great grandkids.  She also enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and reading.  Judith is survived by three sons, David (Elizabeth) Volz, Nick (Cathy Kirk) Volz and Max Volz; two daughters, Mary (James) Campton and Judith (Tom) Smith; 9 grandchildren, Robert Greeson, Jessica (Matt) McGowen, Maggie Ramey and fiance Chad Branham, Karissa Campton, Jessica (Robert) Campbell, Natasha (Eric) Thomas, Amber Hoskins and fiance David Jones, Erica (Logan) Padgett, Staci (Adam) Gentry, Kelly (Zachary) Goodman, Joe Volz, Skylar Volz and Parker Volz; and 15 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Dave Volz.  A private Memorial Mass will be held at Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield.  Inurnment will take place in Holy Cross Cemetery, Indianapolis.  Donations may be made to St Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959
